My short story, The Doll tied for 3rd in Crystal Lake's Flash Fiction contest! The theme this month was haunted houses told from a non-human POV. There were 17 other entries all from amazingly talented authors. The finalists are voted on by their peers.

I am excited to announce that my essay, A Girl, Her Dad and a Cemetery will be included in the Death’s Garden Revisited anthology edited by Loren Rhoads and published by Automatism Press. It’s a story about a day I took my dad out to take photos at the beautiful Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland, California. The anthology is filled with stories about cemeteries from all over the world. There are forty different contributors ranging from horror writers to anthropologists, to ghost hunters, historians and more. Some of the names include: A. M. Muffaz, Angela Yuriko Smith, Christine Sutton, Paul Stansfield, Rain Graves, Carole Tyrrell, Erika Mailman and many more.
The book contains full color photos and is available in hardcover and paperback.
